There was once when my best friend,Annie quipped about our classmate Isabelle and we were laughing about her. The usually phlegmatic Isabelle misunderstood us and thought that we were being serious, she thought that we were just trying to be mean, and without even corroborating that we were not being serious, she made a rash conjecture that we disliked her and had often been bad mouthing her. This made her furious, and she even ignored us for the next few days. Luckily for us, we managed to slowly clear up the understanding, and eventually, we became good friends again.
